Volunteer of the Week: Thank you to Clara Kuter

	Clara Kuter , our volunteer of the week.

Clara Kuter, our volunteer of the week, has been with us from the very beginning of our campaign. Since then, she has helped us in so many ways, and we are grateful for her energy, and the many hours she dedicates to our campaign. Clara is in charge of our Spanish Phone Bank, making a record number of calls a day. She chats with voters in Spanish, gaining more support for our campaign each and every day. Plus, Clara hand-addresses our envelopes in the most beautiful penmanship. And if spending her days at the headquarters was not enough, she attends every evening event possible to help us with anything we may need at the last minute. It doesn’t surprise me that Clara is so generous and supportive; she has volunteered at the San Francisco Aids Foundation for over fourteen years as well other notable non-profits in the city. Thank you for everything, Clara!

Volunteer of the Week: Thank you to Paul Wick

	Paul Wick, our volunteer of the week.

We are so lucky that Paul Wick joined our campaign and decided to help us during his free time. Paul is a graduate of San Francisco State University (right in the heart of the district!) and is currently in the process of applying to law school. Without fail, Paul comes in at least three times a week with a mocha mocha frappuccino in hand and a positive attitude that encourages everyone in the headquarters to work a little bit harder. His passion for politics, knowledge of the 12th Assembly District, and willingness to do anything to help elect Janet makes working with him such a pleasure. Thanks for your dedication for a healthy California, Paul. It wouldn’t be the same working without you!

Volunteer of the Week: Thank you to Tom Havlenka

	Tom Havlenka, our volunteer of the week.

We are so grateful to Tom Havlenka, our volunteer of the week. Tom arrives every morning at 9:00 am on the dot five days a week and answers phones, greets our volunteers, and is always available to lend a helping hand. He attends and supports every one of our evening events at the headquarters and does everything to make sure our campaign is running smoothly. Tom's enthusiasm, graciousness, and all around kind sprit is appreciated by everyone on our campaign.

Volunteer of the Week: Renee Darner

	Renee Darner, our volunteer of the week, at her post in Janet's headquarters!

Since joining our team this fall, Renee Darner has been at every major campaign event, helping us set up, greet guests and make every event a success. Renee has never missed a single Saturday mobilization meeting and her positive energy always helps us get other volunteers excited and engaged. She even made time for us during her school vacation, coming into the headquarters three times a week and entering data at lightning speed. Renee's energy, enthusiasm, and positive attitude is such an asset to our campaign, we can’t thank her enough for all her help.

Volunteer of the Week: Joe Basuino

Volunteer of the week, Joe Basuino, hangs a window sign during a recent Merchant walk.

When we moved into our new headquarters, Joe Basuino was the first person to stop by and I don't think a day has gone since that Joe hasn't helped our campaign in one way or another. Joe was instrumental in helping us prepare for our fantastic campaign kickoff earlier this month and gathering signatures in different areas in the district. Just like clockwork, Joe is back every Monday answering phones and willing to pitch in to do whatever it takes to win this race for Assembly. And if all this wasn't enough, Joe even calls from home to remind us to take out the garbage. I know our staff joins me in heartfelt thanks to Joe Basuino for his hard work and enthusiasm every single day.
